Quick Thoughts on 'Lasso"

What I got from the film Lasso by Salla Tykka is that it speaks about looking and finding or catching. The girl jogs to a friends place but cannot find him. She then walks around the house and finds her reflection on the window; she steps forward to look inside the window to find her friend trying to catch himself with the lasso and repeatedly escaping. It a piece of work that simplifies the idea that you are constantly searching for things (around you, in society, expectations from around you) but aren't able to find of catching them yet you aren't looking at the things you already have and the things that already exist around you. The girl did not glance at herself consciously despite having herself reflected in the mirror. She was looking for her friend but to her surprise found something she wasn’t expecting or something she didn’t know about him instead. The role of the music amplified this idea of discovery of the uncertain and unawareness of the certain.
