Quick Thoughts on 'Railment'

Railment takes on a fantastic approach. I think it was interesting to see the different visually graphic techniques that the artist used to portray his ideas. The characters were minimal but the backgrounds had a constant mastered movement to them that emphasized its colours and textures. I loved how the entire animation felt so unpredictable as to what will happen visually in correspondence to the narration–disappearing/reappearing of backgrounds, moving in and out of the frames, stark blacks and whites of space etc.
